Sakhu was subjected to all kinds of tyranny and she suffered smilingly For she did not mind any suffering or hardship as long as she could worship Lord Krishna. But they objected to even her worship. Holding her Lord responsible for the famine, Ganga asked her to stoop worshi- ping.
