Umar is a 2006 Indian Bollywood drama film released on 2006. The film is directed by Karan Razdan, produced by P. D. Gupta , music composed by Samir Tondon.
Sapna lives a wealthy living with her family. She is living with her mom and dad in US. One day, she meets with a singer and falls in love with him. This man is Shashank Dutt and he is also attracted to her. She introduces him to her father. But, her father disapproves him. He would want Sapna to get married to Vikram who is the son of the political leader. Still her father agrees to get her married to Shashank after he tells that he would do his best to get Sapna at any cost. Then after this, Shashank’s owner of the restaurant named as Victoria is murdered. The police start suspecting Shashank as the ultimate murderer of this case. Because they consider that he is having affair with Victoria. And his fingerprints are found in the knife with which he is brutally killed. Now, what is he going to do?
