In Eighteenth Ccentury somewhere round 1793 A.D. The East India Company was stretching its soversign grip over India by persuading diflerent rulers to recognise British regime and were fighting various battles to overthrow the unyielding rulers. In such pursuit the Britishers fought three battles with Sultan Haider Ali the Ruler of Mysore and father of TIPU SULTAN but were every time defeated by him. . Somehow, the Britishers succcceeded in persuading Nizam of Hyderabad and various other rulers to accept their sovereignty. This encouraged them to throw another ultimatum on Haiderali to surrender or be on war Britishers in alliance with Nizam and various other Rulers attacked Mysore. but, the powerful sword of TIPU defeated them to a miserable retreat. Now Britishers with the cconnivance of various Indians Picked up traitors to conspirate Tipus fall. . In an attack when Tipu Sultan was away to Srirangapattam for coronation according to the last wish of his dead father, they fought a battle where they succeeded to capture Bangalore with the help of a traitor General by voluntary surrender. Tipu thus ahd to give a heavy ransom and hand over his two sons to the Britishers as the War Compensation and the Secruty of no more War with Britishers. The Patriotic Individuals mysteriously escaped with the Princes. The Britishers received reliable information about Tipus very small Militry strength at Srirangapattam and thus made a audden attack but were even then repelled by TIPU SULTAN. The treachery of General of Sultan Tipu placd TIPU SULTAN in the trap of Britishers and was unawaredly killed by Britishers.
