Sri Datta Darshanam is a 1985 Indian Telugu costume drama film released on 1985. Atri and Anasuy takes a very long penance to get divine blessings. As a result, Divine Trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva incarnated as their son Dattatreya. He grows up to be a great Yogi. Indra prays him for help, when is dethroned by Jambhasura. Datta kills Jambhasura with His yogic powers. Vishnudatta, a Brahmin scholar is tested by Datta and gives the great upadesham. Kartaveerya is born with defects and worships Datta and he is bestowed with all powers. Later Kartaveerya became egoistic and is hence controlled by Parashurama. Jamadagni, father of Parashurama is killed by Kartaveerya's sons in retaliation. Then Parashurama kills all kings that do not rule by Dharma and rescued Dattatreya. Datta gives him divine knowledge.
