Inspector Srivastav is stenciled by a willing and cunning crook named as J.K and not able to prove his sincerity and honesty. So, he hangs himself. He leaves behind his beau and a child named as Vijay. Years pass by and then Vijay has grown up and has joined the police troop as a police executive. Similar to his daddy, he is bribed and doesn’t allow this to show to anyone. The City Police are given the task of apprehending a costumed man called "Shahenshah". Shahenshah who works at night and meets all the deadlines, tries and kills crooks in the way he wants, that is in his own” style. No one knows the real name of Shahenshah, as he is not happy by the police department, and in the poor and middle-class, he is respected even more. Amitabh Bachchan as Shahenshah takes revenge against each and every individual and the crook that was responsible for doing the heinous crime. He even takes revenge of his daddy’s death.
