Sati Ansuya 1982

Sati Ansuya is a 1982 Indian Bollywood film released on 1982. The glorious past of India is full of stories about Great Saints and pious Ladies. One of them was Sati Ansuya whose base of life was "Husband is God". . Ansuyas husband Atri was a devotee of Lord Shiva. Brahmani, Laxmi and Paravati, the three Godesses of heaven could not bear the praises showered on Ansuya. They decide do put her to test and created many difficulties in her life. . Shivanand, who posed himself as a great devotee fo Lord Shiva, also tried to create difficulties in her life. Narmada who was about to Commit Suicide as her hproscope showed that she has no happiness of a husband and will become a widow as soon as she marries some one, was Convinced by Shivanand that if she goes to Ansuya, She can send her to heaven without commiting Suicide. Narmada goes there and Ansuya sends her to heaven but Narmada retuens to earth on the advice of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Ansuya gives her the serman "Husband is God". . The three Goddesses, in their effort to test Ansuya, arrange the marriage of Narmada with a blind hunch back. Narmada is not shaken from her faith and goes to pilgrimage with her huaband. There also the goddesses create so many hardships on her way but Ansuya always helps her. One Mandavya Rishi who is angry on Narmadas husband, curses her that her husband will die before the Sunrise. Narmada stops the sun by her powers. There is Caos everywhere and on the advice of Ansuya, Narmada make the Sun free. Her husband dies, but Ansuya make him alive . Defeated Goddesses send their husbands to Ansuya and demand that Ansuya should serve the lunch to them without wearing any clothes.
