Samantaral 1970

Samantaral is a 1970 Indian Bengali family,romance film released on 1970. The film is directed by Guru Bagchi.

This story is based on a woman’s life - Kamala Roy. She worked as a nurse in a hospital. One day a pregnant woman was admited at this hospital. She was Sunanda Chowdhury, the wife of Ashok Chowdhury. Kamala came to know about Sunanda. Ashok met Kamala but kamala misunderstood Ashok. Kamala remembered her past. In her past life Kamala stayed with her uncle. They were very poor. Ashok was their neighbour. One day he met Kamala and they fall in love with each other. But Kamala did not accept him, because Ashok belonged to a rich family. But incidentaly Kamala got married with Ashok. Ashok’s father Brojo-Mohan Chowdhury could not accept Kamala. He gave some money to Kamala’s uncle and pressurised them to leave the place. On the other side he gave wrong information to Ashok. Kamala misunderstood Ashok and they left the place. After a long time Kamala met with Ashok. Ashok had now married Sunanda. Kamala had a adopted son,Mithu. Co-incedently Sunanda came to know that Mithu was her son. Kamala & Ashok came to know about Mithu. Ashok wanted to accept Kamala, but she did not agree with that. They clear all misunderstanding. Ashok accepted Sunanda, he came back with Sunanda and a new born son. Kamala stayed with Mithu.
