Story


Saatwan Aasman is a 1992 Indian Bollywood romance film released on Jan 01, 1992. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt, produced by Pranlal Mehta.
The two runaway people cherish each and every stage of their living as they know that death can separate them anytime as one has got death imprisonment and other is suffering from a fatal condition which is getting worse. The story starts with Pooja ( played by Pooja Bhatt ) and Suraj ( played by Vivek Mushran). Pooja lives with her uncle Dev (played by Shanker kapoor ) . Suraj lives with his mother. Pooja was suffering from a disease which was becoming worse. So, Dev admits her in a hospital. Suraj's mother was also admitted in that hospital because she is ill. Suraj did not have money for treating his mother. He decides to go to the land-lender and take the money. But, he denies giving this and in turn they start fighting with him and the landowner is killed by mistake. He is arrested by the Police and then he is sentenced to jail. But, he escapes from the jail and takes up the job of riding a bike in 'Maut ka kuwa'. He then meets Pooja and they become friends. She also escapes from the hospital to live her life fully. She tells these things to Suraj. Now, both of them decide to live life to the fullest.

This is the story of about two people Pooja ( Pooja Bhatt ) and Suraj (Vivek Mushran). Pooja is a girl who is very mischievous in nature and stays with her uncle Dev (Shankar kapoor ) since childhood. Suraj stays with his mother. Pooja was suffering from a fatal disease which was gradually becoming worse, however, she was not aware of this. Dev admits her in a hospital. Suraj's mother was also admitted in that hospital as she was also ill. Suraj did not have money for the treatment of his mother. He decides to go to their land-lender who had forcefully captured their land. He requests them to give him only the money needed for the trearment of his mother against his land. However, they start fighting with him and in the fight, the landowner is killed by mistake. The police catch him and he is put into jail, and subsequently, sentenced to death. He then runs away from jail and takes up the job of riding a bike in 'Maut ka kuwa'. He meets Pooja and they becomes friends. She had also run away from the hospital to live her life fully. She tells everything to Suraj. Since, both of them have a short life ahead, they decide to live their life fully. Suraj was fulfilling all her wishes using the money he was getting from riding in the 'Maut ka kuwa '. What will happen in the end ? Will Pooja and Suraj really die? Will Suraj be caught by police? A good emotional story.
