Rush is a 2012 Indian Bollywood thriller, drama film released on Oct 26, 2012. The film is directed by Shamim Desai, produced by Shailendra Singh under banner named Percept Picture Company, music composed by Pritam Chakraborty.

The story of Rush involves Sam as the leading character. Sam (Emraan Hashmi) is a person who dreams of becoming big within a short time. Sam’s both personal and professional life is in pinnacle. Sam is engaged to his wife Ahana (Sagarika Gatge). Sam’s life then takes a wrong shape when he decides to quit his controversial TV show. Sam then meets Liza (Neha Dhupia). Liza is a tall, elegant and stiff character in the movie who offers Sam a job in MNC. But, this firm is run by Roger Khanna. Sam and Roger both create a news channel. This channel blows down the current competition. After the channel’s success Sam gets money, a car and a penthouse. This channel achieves maximum TRPs and is declared as the TRP breaking channels in India. This channel is the first channel in India that reaches the crime spots and ensures that culprits are given punishments. Sam has everything now to conquer the world. But, everything is better until the channel is working. After, this Sam gets trapped in a very wrong situation where he has to face the game of death planned by Liza and Roger.
