A sordid tale of revenge and guilt. An abused woman, a witness in a police case is killed and the investigation digs up corruption causing an A.C.P., Ghosh to commit suicide.Somenath and Dr Roy are the characters who bring about the exposure. Shukla, who went temporarily astray is punished by imprisonment of three years but daughter is safe at a school in Darjeeling and all the abusers having been punished, the movie ends on a note of hope.
