Ram Tere Kitne Naam is a 1985 Indian Bollywood drama,social film released on Feb 15, 1985. The film is directed by P. Madhavan, produced by Harish Shah , music composed by R. D. Burman.
This is the story of a guy named as Peturam. Peturam is overweight and a very humble person. He lives in the village and is in love with a girl named as Radha. Now, Radha is the sister of Teja Singh. So, Peturam goes to Teja to ask him to give his hand to Peturam. Which he does. After this, Teja Singh, makes fun of him and asks him to leave and earn atleast Rs 1 lakh to get her. So, he gets shifted to Bombay and starts earning his living. He drives a taxi and in order to get rich soon, he purchases lotteries. But, these are of no use. So, Peturam is one day been noticed by a film director and he gives him a chance to work in his movies. So, he does that and his film hits the box-office with grand success. He is now a multimillionaire Peturam and he then returns to his village to gets Radha,. But, upon going there he sees that Radha is pregnant and is wed to some other guy.
