Rajnartaki 1941

Rajnartaki is a 1941 Indian Bengali drama film released on 1941. The film is directed by Madhu Bose.

Madhuchhanda, the Manipur court dancer, was heart throb of the prince. Madhuchhanda also loved him. Everybody uesd to go to Radhamohan's temple for worshipping to fulfill their dreams. Madhuchhanda went to the temple to wish the good of the prince. But she was not allowed to get inside the temple as per king's orders .On her way back she met a "Khyapa Baul" beside the spring.The court dancer worshipped lord Narayan there. The King of Tripura wanted to get his daughter married with Manipuri pirnce. So he sent a proposal through a messenger. The proposal was either marriage or war. The king of Manipur agreed about the marriage proposal. It was the day of "Raash Purnima". The court dancer was performing her best. The prince was also happy. The commander-in-chief brought the order from the King. Prabhupaad had already arrived with the feet-dust of Mahaprabhu. King's order to the prince was to carry that dust. But the prince disobeyed the order. The king rebuked his son. At that time Prabhpaad reached there and when he was about to bless the court dancer for her performance the king reminded him that she was the court dancer.The prince promised the court -dancer Madhuchhanda that he would marry her.He told his father to go for war with the king of Tripura. Prabhupaad requested Madhuchhanda to leave the prince for the sake of kingdom and life of the prince. Madhuchhanda gave her words to Prabhupaad that she would leave the prince. The prince wanted to take revenge for Madhuchhanda's decision. He ordered her to dance in the court. Madhuchhanda started dancing. Prabhupaad realised that her love for the prince was pure, celestial. So Prabhupaad handed her over the feet-dust of Mahaprabhu. He informed the commander-in-chief Tyve that Madhuchhanda had enough eligibility ot carry the feet-dust. The people of Manipur became furious for that honour of Madhuchhanda. They all came to kill her. But their attempt failed. Ultimately love wins and Madhuchhanda gets her prince.
