Story
A romantic musical, Rajjo is the journey of a Nautch girl in the most extraordinary circumstances. It tells the love story of Rajjo (Kangana Ranaut) and Chandu (Paras Arora) set against the backdrop of the dying Kothas of Mumbai that nurtured the traditional art of singing and dancing for centuries.
21-year-old Chandu hot blooded naïve guy who wants to feel like a man goes to a kotha with his friends to celebrate his victory in cricket match. But the victory and the celebration end up his losing heart for an older Rajjo. This leads to Chandu frequently returning to that kotha to pursue her and Rajjo too falls for Chandu’s innocence. With the help of Begum, marriage was the next phase of Chandu and Rajjo’s love story. The couple moving to the village get followed by some unwanted confusing twists which are clichéd and incoherent. But then Rajjo and Chandu fell in love against all the conditions of dying kothas of Mumbai.
