Naughty Boy 1962

Naughty Boy is a 1962 Indian Bollywood comedy film released on 1962. The film is directed by Shakti Samanta, produced by Shakti Samanta under banner named Shakti Films.

Pritam works as a Book-keeper in an Export Import Firm and does not have a roof to live under. When he goes to search foraccommodation, he runs into a friend, Jagdish,who takes him to a house and lets him share one room with himself, Kavi Viyogi, and Bhimsen. The landlady has very strict rules for all her tenants: No one is allowed to have any romance on her property. On a rainy day when Pritam goes to buy milk, he runs into a beautiful girl, Meena Sharma, and their umbrellas get entangled, and when freed, they get interchanged. He goes to look for her house and finds that she lives with her maternal uncle, a music maestro of sorts, and Pritam enrolls himself in his class. Pritam and Meena continue meeting and fall in love with each other. When Meena’s sister is about to get married, she travels to Poona and that’s when Pritam finds out that her train had an accident and she has been listed as one of the dead. Heart-broken and devastated he is severely depressed, until his co-workers decide that he should go for a picnic and this does cheer him considerably. In this cheerful state he returns home and decides to carry on with life without Meena. It is then Meena returns back, quite very much alive, and finds that Pritam is not in a state of mourning but is enjoying life to the fullest. She decides to teach him a lesson that he will never forget. Watch what happens when the lesson commences and what impact this has on our care-free friend - who is currently wooing a dancer by the name of Edna Wong.

It all started on a rainy day. As the monsoon breeze blew over the rain swept street, the umbrellas slipped from the grips of the boy and the girl. Who knew that both the umbrellas will fly and fly and meet together, never to part again. . That is now they first met - the Naughty boy and the Beautiful girl. . Pritam, the naughty boy, lived in a huge tenement and shared a room with three absolutely unusual companions. The room boasted of the latest modern fittings, including space saving double-decker beds. The tenants were in constant feare of the frightful landlady who laid down her down laws with a strong hand, hardest of all being her law that outlawed love on the premises. It was whispered very quietly that the landlady herself had a soft corner for the corny vaid who had shop on the ground floor, and who delighted in playing cupid whenever occasion aroses. . Neena, the beautiful girl, lived in the suburbs with her elderly uncle The gentleman was an ardent lover of classical music, and rather unfortunately suffered from an illusion that he was himself a competent singer, much to the horror and tortur of his listeners. Neena, however could sing and dance with the best of them. . When Pritam stepped into their house to exchange umbrullas and get back his own, the sparks really began to fly. Pritam and Neena found themselves emeshed in a mad, merry, mix-up that was to end, of all places, on a giant wheel gone crazy at a carnival.
