Market is a 2003 Indian Bollywood drama, musical film released on Sep 12, 2003. The film is directed by Jai Prakash, produced by Atif Khan.
When newly married companion, Neelu, was brought in the brothel by her beau, Appa Rao, on false pretext, Muskaan Bano, a girl for several years, also remembered her unfortunate story. Things change when the police raid the bordello, and apprehend the patrons and the courtesans. Inspector Sawant takes a loving concerned to Muskaan, and decides to promote her to another "market", admitting more sophisticated, to which she agrees. After this, there is no looking back for Muskaan, who is now known as Malaika by her name, and the sky is the limit, including vindicating herself against her Arab beau, who sold her at the flesh market, with deadly consequences, as well as a chance at meeting the individual who really runs India.
