The movie ‘Lootera’ is filming the year 1953 story of an archaeologist, Varun Shrivastav, who originates to the village of Manikpur in West Bengal to dig the temple lands of the native Zamindar. With awareness and knowledge beyond his young manner, Varun greatly influences the Zamindar and his family. Especially Pakhi,the Zamindar's energetic and single daughter, who catches herself irreversibly haggard towards him. But Varun isn't all he appears on the apparent. And as the rumbling attraction between him and Pakhi pointers to an affectionate and deep love, he is required to choose between her and his past. Making his select, Varun vanishes. Pakhi fights to move on with her life, strong-minded to overlook him and their connection. Till one day, when he returns under the strange situations.
