Kaash is a 1987 Indian Bollywood drama,social film released on Sep 04, 1987. The film is directed by Mahesh Bhatt, produced by F. K. Rattonsey under banner named Yokhama Production.
Ritesh, film star or Hindi films is living in past glories. Shunned by flim makers and hounded by creditors, he takes to heavy drinking. . Pooja, his wife, starts working to support the family. Ritesh male ego does not tolerate this and now start many fights between them to which their only child, Romi becomes a silent spectator. . Alok (Aupam) once saves Pooja from a lecherous man and offers her a job in his own firm. Ritesh now given an ultimatum to Pooja to either leave the job or leave the home. Pooja leaves home. Anupam intially offers moral support to Pooja and later on marriage. Pooja goes to court for the possession of Romi and loses. . Having won the possession of Romi, Ritesh now discovers that Romi is going to die of cancer. Dying Romi asks his father to fulfill three wishes of his. One of the wishes requires Ritesh, Pooja and Romi to go to a hillstation which they had visited in their happy days. Anupam meets violently to the situtation.
