Jaatishwar is a 2014 Indian Bengali musical film released on Jan 17, 2014. The film is directed by Srijit Mukherji, music composed by Indradeep Dasgupta.

When Rohit, a Gujarati lad, falls head over heels with the almost parochial, Bengali with a vengeance, Mahamaya Banerjee, little did he know that he is embarking on a journey which will take him back by 177 years, to 19th century Bengal, when a Portuguese songwriter Antony Phiringee devoted his life to the Bengali language. And in the process, two lives separated by almost centuries will get entwined in an unforgettable journey of faith, love, life, death and music - resulting in the musical cum biopic cum reincarnation drama cum love
