Insaniyat is a 1955 Indian Bollywood costume film released on 1955. The film is directed by S. S. Vasan, music composed by C. Ramchandra.

This is the story of Bhanu, being humiliated by his boss, from here on he swears revenge from him but in a good way. The circumstances in society suddenly changes Bhanu as a good dacoit and he joins hands with his next companions to destroy the evil crime boss Zangoora and his gang. This movie is still very popular and has some remarkable songs which sold millions of tapes in the world as it burst its way through.

A rural adventure drama with Western overtones and the only time the two leading stars of the 50s, D. Kumar and D. Anand, appeared together Mangal (D. Kumar) is the hero opposing the bandit chief Zangoora (Jayant) and his right-hand man Bhanu (Anand). When Bhanu raids a village, Mangal persuades Bhanu to renounce banditry and Bhanu becomes a leader of the villagers.
