Story
The story of the film moves around two neighboring families. One family is headed by Sethji (played by Paresh Rawal) and the other by Devyani (played by Dimple Kapadia). Rahul (played by Govinda) is Sethji's boy. He has just returned to his town after completing his studies. Radhika (played by Urmila Matondkar), is Devyani’s sisinlaw, recently returned back from the village. Radhika and Rahul fall in love with each other. Devyani is impressed with her business strategies, Dhananjay (played by Nirmal Pandey). She is also coolof Rahul and Radhika's covert meetings, so she offers Radhika's hand in wedding to Dhananjay, who delightedly accepts this. Rahul has to prove his love and faith to Dhananjay and Devyani.
