Story, Synopsis, Trivia, Dialogues for Gulabi Gang (2014)
This is the story on women activists who are actually dealing in fighting with various social norms that have been taking place in the human society. The story is about a group of 7 women who have been fighting with the systems like: dowry, corruption and various other issues that actually make harass the society. Now, the story actually begins with the lady named as Rajjo who is living in the parts of Bundelkhand and that too in Uttar Pradesh. She has actually started a gulabi gang in these parts. Later, she is supported by various other women in the society. The character of Rajjo is of a very powerful lady who is interested in teaching little girls about how to read, while she teaches elder girls how to take up the lathhi. The story is further proceeded with the introduction of a shrewd political lady named as Sumitra Bagrecha whose main character in the movie is about using the people. So, this powerful gang fights with the evil practices of this lady. Even these ladies fight for the poor and helpless people.
