First Love Letter 1991

First Love Letter is a 1991 Indian Bollywood romance film released on 1991. The film is directed by Shiva, produced by Pahlaj Nihalani.
This is the story of a Thakur Ajit Singh. He is a rich and devout man. He stays with his family in a palatial house. Thakur’s thinking is very orthodox and thus he considers that ladies should always be indoors and never interrupt with business affairs outside of the house. He also considers that marriage should only take between equals. Things hit his thinking when his only daughter named as Radha, has fallen deeply in love with a poor man called as Shyam. Initially, he does every possible thing to get his daughter married to the rich guy, but after this he accepts their wedding and changes his opinion about the marriages and ladies.

Thakur Ajit Singh (Danny) is a wealthy and orthodox man and believes that women should always be indoors and never interfere with business affairs outside of the house. He also believes in marriage between equals and expects. He is shocked and angered to learn that his only daughter, Radha (Manisha Koirala), has fallen in love with a poor man named Shyam (Vivek Mushran). He opposes this marriage, but Radha is adamant. Ajit Singh has Shyam arrested and beaten up. What will Radha do? Will there be a victory of Love?

Radha, born in a rich family who has nto seen the mundane world and is not aware of it. She wanted to see the world outside before she got married. Shrikant, Tahkur Ajit Singhs brother tells him to send his daughter Radha to Thakurs own bunglow on a hill station for a few days. There she is entranced by the tune of his flute and falls in love with Shyam who played the flute with love. On first sight Shyam also falls for Radha and starts loving her. Shyam mistakes Radha to be a maid of rich family. Radha knwoing that Shyam has hatred for rich prople does not tell him the truth that she is daughter of a rich man, Thakur Ajit Singh. They both love each other very much. But one day Thakur Ajit Singh takes Radha away from Shyam when he sends her away to the city. . In curse of their separation Shyam writes a `First Love Letter to Radha but Ajit Singh does not let those letters reach his daughter Radha. . One day Shyam comes to the city to meet Radha. He in front of Ajit Singh signifies his marrige to Radhas with his on blood. Ajit Singh is enraged at this and gets Shyam imprisoned and married his daughter Radha to Ambar Singh.
