English Vinglish 2012

English Vinglish is a 2012 Indian Bollywood costume drama, comedy, drama film released on Oct 05, 2012. The film is directed by Gauri Shinde, produced by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala under banner named Eros International.

The story is about a sweet and a quiet housewife who is a good cook. Her basic hobby is to cook food and to serve the best of her cooking for her husband, family, neighbors and relatives. The movie is based on a very strong concept of how a housewife is always dominated by her educated husband and her daughter. The movie focuses on her inability to speak English and understand the same. She is independent and is broad minded, but these characteristics don’t add a plus point to her character. The story’s lead character Sridevi has done justice with her role.

After number of twists and turns, one day she is invited for her niece’s wedding. She goes to London but, she is not able to cope up with her surroundings due to her English. She then decides to join English classes. During, her journey to learn English, she makes very good friends who are like her. They are also of the same mind sense as her. She starts feeling comfortable and then starts expanding her English knowledge. The story is very beautiful with many good recitations and dialogues. The story is worth watching and it portrays a very beautiful message us for all.
