Ekai Eksho is a 2006 Indian Bengali drama, action, family film released on Feb 10, 2006. The film is directed by Babu Ray, music composed by Bappi Lahiri.

Ratan an auto-rickshaw driver in Kolkata. He lives with his mother, sister Runu and two young brothers Tapan and Swapan. The local M.L.A. Pradip Roy's goon Noche Choudhury used to collect 'Hafta' from the auto-drivers with the local police officer Biren babu. One day Ratan refused to pay the Hafta and that created a problem. Biren babu and Pradip Roy came to know that Ratan had singlehandedly tackled dozens of goons led by Noche. They became worried that Ratan might unite the auto-drivers. Pradip Roy offered Ratan to join his gang for the ensung election. Ratan refused. The Pradip Roy wanted to break the unity of his family. He succeeded in separating his two brothers and sister from Ratan. Only Ratan's mother belived in her elder son. Ratan's sister married Noche, Tapan and Swapan agreed to work for Pradip Roy - all these things hurt Ratan, but he didn't divert from his ideology. Pradip Roy's daughter Jhilik wanted to teach Ratan a good lesson as he insulted her father. But Jhilik fell in love with Ratan. Ratan and Jhilik both saved the house for the orphans run by Tapati from the fire set by Noche and others.
