Suryaveer Singh (Amitabh Bachchan), an esrstwhile black commando in the army, quits after fighting in many battles. He takes to drinking soon and becomes a social outcast. His life changes, when he takes up a job as the bodyguard of the child.
However, misfortune strikes when the girl he is protecting, is kidnapped. Playing on his life, Suryaveer is felled by the kidnapper's bullets and critically injured.
Anamika's wealthy father Ravi realizes that no amount of money is enough to save his daughter. Her helpless mother Nikasha hopes that her prayers will somehow be answered.
Only Suryaveer knows something that they don't--he alone possesses the expertise to bring the little girl back to her family. With tenacity and wisdom, he pieces together random clues and penetrates to the very heart of the conspiracy.
