Dost 1989

Dost is a 1989 Indian Bollywood family drama, drama, family film released on Aug 04, 1989. The film is directed by K. Murali Mohan Rao, produced by A. Surya Narayan.

The picture starts with Sher Singh (played by Amjad Khan) and his boy named as Nagender (played by Kiran Kumar) who are engaged in poaching, cutting plants and transport them out of the forest. They kill a forest officer named as Anthony (played by Dalip Tahil) and Raja (played by Mithun Chakraborty) takes charge in his area. There are many friends in the forest, who help him in supporting and casting them favor. They help each other in the time of problems. Once Raja frees Ram from the clutches of a crocodile. Raja tells Sher Singh and Nagender to stop the smuggling, resulting in destruction between them. Sher Singh wants his son named as Nagender to get married to Pooja (played by Amala). Amala is the girl of a multimillionaire named as Brijmohan (played by Sujit Kumar) and also Bharti (played by Shobha Khote), Sher Singh's beau, on the other hand wants that Pooja should marry to her sincere nephew Buddhi Ram Aval Chand Dimagwala (played by Kader Khan), as she is the girl of the friend of Buddhi's deceased dad. But, things are not appreciated because she loves someone else. But Pooja wants to marry Raja as he saved her from the clutches of the Nagender's eyes when she went out for killing of animals. Pooja marries Raja against her dad's wishes. Raja's well wisher and tribal helper named as Mangola (played by Sharad Saxena) perform the rituals on behalf of Pooja's dad.
