Door Nahin Savera is a 1991 Indian Bollywood film released on 1991. The film is directed by Charu Kamal Hazarika. The film is bacicaly based on the theme of Family Welfare. It narrates an emotional story of a village girl Chaya, who was given in marriage at the age of 16, by her adament father much against her will. Her hopes for education, aspirations to become a self style woman shatter- ed at the adamency of the father who cites the example fo his wife whom he married at a very young age. Arun, Chayas love had to be silent at their traditional attitude of the society and become a doctor. After twenty years Arun had to join in a dispenssary as a doctor and comes to the same locality where he spent his young age with Chaya. The Muslim village bard, Rahim Chacha, is the emotional witness to chayas sufferings in her husbands place. When Arun meets Rahim Chacha, the later narrates Chayas story and his experience with Chaya in flashbacks to Arun. Comming to know about Chayas plight and ill health, Dr. Arun vis its her on her death bed. She was taken to the hospital by Arun but Chaya dies on the way on the lap of Arun.
