Story
Vijaya (Vijayashanti) and Gopi (Mumbai actor Avinash) are petty thieves who loot the rich to feed the poor `a-la Robin Hood act`. And there is an underworld don who emerges as the kingmaker in the political arena. He is the mentor and guide to the Home Minister. Kota Srinivasa Rao plays the Mafia don and Raghunatha Reddy the Home Minister. These two are engaged in arms smuggling across the border and are encouraging the terrorist elements in the Kashmir front. A police officer Sekhar (Vinod Kumar) nabs Vijaya and Gopi finding that they are petty thieves. But, strangely (for the audience) he acts as if he is very close to Vijaya. He releases both Gopi and Vijaya and when they were about to marry, Sekhar enters the scene and stops the marriage declaring that Vijaya is already married to him. He even produces an album to prove the point!
