Seth Laxminarayan is a kind-hearted wealthy man who lives only for the good of others. This ambition is to build a hospital for the poor. He has two wives, Saraswati and Seema. He had to marry his second wife under a compelling obligation from her father. He has a son from Saraswati and a daughter from Seema. Even though his two wives live seperately Laxminarayan is a happy man who never falls short of his love for his wife and children. . In contrast, Laxminarayans manager Durjan Singh is not only a greedy and a cunning man, his son is also cunning and greedy like his father. But Seths old driver is the most lovable and loyal man, who is known as chacha to all. . Durjan Singhs sole aim is to usurp Seths entire property. One day he abducts Laxminarayans second wife Seema and later sets fire to the house where Seths first wife lives with her son. Saraswati succumbs to her burn injury through her son manages to escape. Laxminarayan dies of shock. . Durjan Singh wants his son to marry Anita. Seema detests the idea. . On the day of her marriage when Anita is about to tie the knot to Durjans, a stranger named Vijay comes to wedding pandal and claims that he has already been married to Anita. While allare amazed, Anita announces that what Vijay has said is true. . Now as husband of Anita Vijay inherits all of Laxminarayans property. As a bolt from the blue to Vijay, a man called Birju arrives on the scene and he claims that he is the Seths lost son. . In Birju Durjan Singh sees silver lining in the dark clouds. He now incites Birju against Vijay by poisioning his ears. One day Birju meets Vijay. Already instigated by Durjan Singh, Birju spits all his venom at Vijay and they both come to blows.
