Sat Maa 2006

Sat Maa is a 2006 Indian Bengali drama,family film released on Jun 30, 2006. The film is directed by Mohd. Mohsin, produced by V. S. Nanda under banner named Fabourite Secuirities (P) Ltd..

Sudam babu's first wife died after giving to a daughter Meenakshi. When Meenakshi was eight years old, Sudam babu married for the second time. His second wife was Mohini. Mohini loved Prakash. Prakash was a Naxalite. He was shot by police in a chase. Every body thought that Prakash was dead, but he was alive and was sentenced for six years jail. When he came out of jail, he came to know that Mohini got married to Sudam babu. Prakash also came to know that the love child died while birth, it was a girl child. When Mohini went to the hospital with Sudam babu for delivering the child in the same hospital the lady doctor was surprised, as the lady doctor was the same lady doctor who was present at the time of her early delivery. Only she knows that Mohini's first daughter was alive, because she changed the dead child delivered by Sudam babu's first wife with the girl child delivered by Mohini at the same time. Mohini did not know that Meenakshi was her own daughter, not a step daughter. Mohini became mother of another child. Her name was Mandira. After sixteen years both Meenakshi and Mandira are grown up, they are young. Meenakshi fell in love with a young man Dipankar. Mohini always treated Meenakshi as he step daughter. She never allowed Meenakshi's freedom. She wanted to marry with Dipankar, the son of a rich businessman. But there was also Prakash Chatterjee, the business tycoon, whom everybody called as 'Daddy'. He likes both Dipankar and Meenakshi. When he intervened Mohini's decesion, Mohini found that 'daddy' was none other than her old love Prakash. The story ended in a happy note.
