Dadu-Nati-Hati 1986

Dadu-Nati-Hati is a 1986 Indian Bengali children film released on 1986. The film is directed by Nip Barua, produced by Darmakanta Saikia.

The film is about th family of Bipradas Chowdhury (Manoj Mitra). Bipradas' family consists of his widowed daughter-in-law (Madhabi) and his grandson Khokon (Sumanta Ray). After the death of his friend,Kashinath and his wife it is Bipradas who brings up Bipasha. Khokon goes to town for higher studies and falls in love with a girl named Kanta. When Khokon comes to know that his grand-father plans to give Bipasha's marriage with Khokon, he tells them about his love. When Bipradas refuses to relent, Khokon leaves home. Bipradas' sister Shanti (Geeta De) encourages Khokon to marry Kanta as she wants her brother's property. While on the one hand Khokon goes abroad for further studies, on the other, Bipasha takes the entire charge of Bipradas' household. In course of time Khokon's mother falls sick and dies. Geeta De comes to her brother's house to ensure that her brother give his entire property to her. When she finds that Bipasha is there she starts misbehaving with her because of which she leaves the house. But after a few days when Bipasha returns Bipradas sees his sister misbehaving with Bipasha and orders her to leave the house. After a few days Bipradas also dies leaving Bipasha alone in the world. At this point in time Khokon returns and informs Bipasha that he is not married and will marry Bipasha. The film thus ends happily.
