The story rotates around the eponymous Chamki, a good-looking nomad girl with a hot temper. She is philosophical and self-indulgent, living completely in the present moment. Not cautious with her love, she is answerable for the destruction of many men. The temptress persuades a BSF Jawan, Dilip Singh, prominent to rebellion against his superior. His passion grounds him to link a band of drug runners, of which Chamki is a fellow. Dilip Singh is glad with Chamki for a short-lived period, but is compelled to insanity as things from her shady past and her determined future come in the path.
